Well, its only taken me an hour to work out how to actually produce a blog on my web page and I'm already regretting adding it. HOWEVER, I chose not to be beaten by technology so here I am. Blogging. Whoop Whoop!
I have no idea what to blog about. What does a counsellor blog about? Obviously mental wellness is a given but what else? Answers on a postcard please... I think, right now I have decided, I would like this page to be light hearted and insightful as well as acting like a sort of virtual hug, just in case you need one. I am a bit of a fan of images that say what I want to say so I will also add pictures to help. If you are not a fan of these then this blog may not be for you! I may also have a quote of the day, week or month depending on how well this goes. For those clients I have already worked with, they may recognise these, I have a few favourites that enter the therapy room from time to time. I am also a big fan of making up words if you cant find the right one - if it fits and it makes sense to you then why not! For now I will leave you with one of my very favourite sayings, if you are thinking about counselling but feel unsure or scared then please remember that if you are Ok where you are, that is OK. If you are not OK remember that nothing changes if nothing changes. Why not give me a call and see if therapy could help make a difference for you? warmest of wishes Marie
